Hebrews 4:12 – ALIVE

Heb 4:12
For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

This is a very old and trusted friend.

It is one of the first verses that my mom made me memorize… and one that I am working to transfer to my kids.
(Something I want them to know and trust)

I want them to know that the Bible isn’t some quaint collection of pious platitudes.

  • It’s ALIVE and vibrant.
  • It’s DANGEROUS and comfortable.
  • It KNOWS YOU (better than you know yourself.)

My advice to them?
Spend TIME with it.
KNOW it.
VALUE IT.
USE it.
